I have sponsored the Extreme Wheels project since 2006. The annual festival is organised and managed by park regulars (mostly young people) and their friends and family members and it is keenly supported by Carterton Town Council, local businesses, churches, Carterton Youth Council and various community volunteers.

Extreme Wheels has presented fantastic opportunitieds for young people to get fully involved in the strategic planning, research, communications, fund raising and delivery of a community project that they can be enormously proud of.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who dedicates so much time and effort in support of this project!

The 2010 Festival included competitions in the categories of Skateboard, Inline and BMX and there was another bungee run and BBQ food & drinks etc.
